Thank you to Barefoot Wine for sponsoring this post + helping me celebrate small wins 🙂

If there’s anything that 2020 has taught me, it’s that life is unpredictable and we definitely shouldn’t take anything for granted. I’m excited to be partnering with Barefoot Wine to write this post to encourage you to find joy in the little things, and take the time to celebrate small wins. Here are 5 reasons why you should pop the Barefoot Bubbly and celebrate yourself right now:

Gratitude increases your overall life satisfaction

I’ve heard this time and time again and yet it’s still something I struggle to put into practice. When you practice gratitude, you’re more likely to feel more thankful for things over time. It’s all about where your focus is at. If you achieve a small goal and all you can think about is how far away from where you wanna be, then you’re immediately going to feel frustrated and unsatisfied right off the bat. But if every time you achieve something you take the time to congratulate yourself and feel grateful for that win, then you’re more likely to feel satisfied and pleased with yourself. Which brings me to my next point…

Taking time to celebrate small wins increases your motivation!

That’s right – if you’re constantly beating yourself down for what you haven’t accomplished yet, what are you gonna feel? Frustrated and like a failure. But if you praise yourself, reward yourself, and celebrate yourself – then that’s only gonna motivate you to work harder! So come on sis – give yourself a BREAK. Because…

You deserve to celebrate yourself for your hard work

This is pretty self explanatory – I would even file this one under self care. YOU ARE DESERVING AND WORTHY OF CELEBRATION! For making one sale, for gaining 10 new followers, for getting a bonus at work, for cleaning the house, getting dressed for the day, whatever! You earned those things!  So pop the barefoot champagne baby! Many small steps lead to big accomplishments. And after all, flash photo of Grace Mattei in an all white bathroom popping a bottle of barefoot wine bubbly champagne to celebrate small wins

If you don’t celebrate small wins, the large accomplishments won’t be as satisfying

Celebrating yourself is basically conditioning yourself to believe that you did a good job! If you’re anything like me, you struggle with this. Any time I hit a goal, I’m usually right onto the next thing. I might give myself 5 minutes to pat myself on the back – but guess what? Then it’s back to work straight after. Not only is this not sustainable, but it has very quickly led me to burn out – because I never took the time to ENJOY the fruits of all my hard work! Lastly,

Life is short

So why not celebrate yourself every opportunity that you get? These days we’re so busy trying to get ahead that we forget to enjoy the journey and remember why we started in the first place. We need to get out of the mindset that we live to work and remember that we work to LIVE! So while your small wins may not feel noteworthy enough, the more you learn to appreciate them, the more grateful you’ll feel every time you accomplish a goal.

What’s something that you’re proud that you accomplished this year, big or small? For me it’s that we finally moved to LA and have managed to stick it out despite all the unexpected challenges this year has brought. I’m really glad we’re here, and that’s a cause worth celebrating! Tell me what you’re gonna celebrate yourself for below!

xx grace
