Hello again! Coming to you from social distancing day who the heck even knows anymore…because I sure don’t that’s for sure. Idk how you guys have been living your life during quarantine, but I’ve basically been living in sweats nonstop. Like…I honestly need to get my act together y’all haha. HOWEVER, I’ve decided that in order to get my life together and start being more productive during this time, I needed to give myself a low maintenance get ready routine that doesn’t take too long but still makes me feel good! Enter, the Waterless Collection from Pantene. I’m about to bless y’all with some get ready knowledge rn!!

In case some of you didn’t know, I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for the longest. And when I say the longest, I mean like 5 YEARS long. No joke. It’s been a frustrating process to say the least. That being said, a little while back I had extensions put in for about 6 months, and to my amazement when I got them taken out my hair had actually become LONGER AND THICKER!!! What! Why you ask? Well, because 1) I could wash my hair less since I had so much hair and 2) I never had to use heat because the extensions made my hair look so healthy. Needless to say, I realized I needed to make some active changes in my hair routine so I could keep that up, since clearly it was helping.

Now that my extensions are gone, I try not to wash my hair more than once or twice a week at an absolute maximum. Normally this would be kind of challenging, but Pantene’s Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam and Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist have become a staple in keeping my hair feeling clean but not weighed down. Once my hair starts to get greasy, I just dispense a small amount of foam on my fingertips and massage at the roots, then I’m good to go. I also like to use the dry conditioner on the ends of my clean hair just to give it a little texture and extra body.

Okay, so I don’t wash my hair as much now. Which is helpful (and saves me time PTL), but my favorite part about this whole Waterless Collection process has been the Curl Affair Curl Reshaping Cream. Since I’m Greek, my hair is naturally coarse, and in the past heat has been a MUST. HAVE. to style it. But if I ever want my hair to get long again, then clearly, I had to change that. To keep my hair styled and wavy, I’ve started braiding it in French braids every night, and then using a bit of the reshaping cream every morning. It totally gives my waves a smoother and freshened look, and I can honestly say I’m really pleased with how it looks. Whichhhh is definitely not something I ever thought I’d be able to accomplish without heat. Hey, miracles do happen!

Going into Summer I’m excited to keep this low maintenance vibe up and not have to just put my hair in a bun everyday to let it get long. The sulfate and paraben free Pantene Waterless Collection for the win y’all! Seriously, it’s a thing.

What do you do to keep your hair fresh between washes? Any additional tips I should know for growing my hair out? Let a girl KNOW!

Love you all, stay safe, stay happy. <3
