Happy Monday everyone! Another week, another outfit. And can we talk about the view that comes along with it? Honestly, I feel like I could be wearing a garbage bag in these photos and I would still love them. This was my last shoot of the day while I was in NYC, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to wrap things up than with this gorgeous view of the city skyline at sunset. Thanks New York, you make me look good. 😉
(This Feminist pin is one of my favorite things that I’ve ever gotten while traveling – I picked it up from this cool little restaurant/cafe called Oddfellows in Seattle earlier this year! You should definitely check it out if you’re ever passing through. #yourewelcome)
This weekend was a fun one, filled with costume parties, corn mazes, and (vegetarian!) chili – I absolutely love this time of year. Crisp Fall air, cozy sweaters, Halloween, STRANGER THINGS (how it’s possible that I haven’t binged the whole season already, I really don’t know), and the fact that it’s about to be November…which (to me) means Thanksgiving, and full permission to listen to Christmas music. I can’t wait for the holidays! But alright, okay, I’m getting ahead of myself. After all, I’m still making NYC posts..and I was there in September. Someone catch me up on life, please! Okay, end rant. Now back to the clothes!
I dig this outfit because it’s got a bit of an edgy street-style feel to it, but it’s still a simple athleisure look at the same time. I mean technically I’m just wearing an adidas shirt with leggings, which is a totally casual athleisure look – but then pair the ensemble with some studded booties and a denim jacket and suddenly you’ve got some serious urban vibes going on. These Topshop booties are one of my all-time favorite pairs of shoes in my closet, and I got them on sale for FIVE. DOLLARS. True story. I can’t even get a latte for that cheap anymore. #fashionwin
Also I know people used to think it was totally taboo to wear leggings as pants, but let’s be honest – those days are long gone. Besides, these girlfriend leggings are completely opaque and completely comfortable – they’re especially great because you can wear them to the gym but you can also rock them in a more elevated way, like I am here. As always, you can shop the yellow links above for the exact items I’m wearing, along with some other additional suggestions I added for a similar look!
What are some Fall looks that you’ve been loving lately? Anything in particular you’d like to see here on the blog? Leave me a comment and let me know!
